ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology
Prerequisites: None
ITEC Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology is the prerequisite for any therapy related course.
By the end of the course you will have a good understanding of the following major systems of the body and their pathology:
- Cells
- Skin, hair and nails
- Musculoskeletal System
- Digestive System
- Lymphatic System
- Respiratory System
- Reproductive System
- Nervous System
- Cardiovascular System
- Endocrine System
- Urinary System
This underpins your therapy studies, giving you an insight into the physiology needed to make informed decisions about treating your clients safely and objectively and circumstances when you would avoid or adapt treatment.
This course will allow you to progress to any bodywork studies, including massage and reflexology and will enable you to gain insurance and professional memberships to begin your therapy practice.
